STRUCTURAL FRAMING

Structural
Framing

With the new foundation in place, structural framing established the floors, walls, openings, and overall volume of the Beverly Road residence. Floor joists, framed partitions, and exterior wall assemblies transformed the foundation footprint into a full-scale building form.

FRAMING PROGRESS

Raising the Structure
from the Foundation

Wall framing and floor systems began translating the foundation plan into a full-scale home. The growing structure established building height, major openings, interior zones, and the relationship between each level.

Ground and aerial views document how the building’s footprint developed into a two-story structural frame.

FLOOR FRAMING SYSTEM

Building the Home’s
Horizontal Structure

Engineered wood joists created the horizontal framework between levels. Their repeated layout organized the floor plane, supported the structure above, and connected the exterior and interior wall systems.

INTERIOR FRAMING

Interior Spaces
Begin to Take
Shape

Inside the frame, the home’s proportions and circulation became visible. Framed walls established room boundaries, while large openings preserved connections between the primary living spaces and the exterior.

01

Defined Room Zones

Interior partitions begin defining rooms, circulation paths, and connections between spaces.

02

Open Living Volume

The wide framed interior reveals the scale of the main living area before finishes and building systems are installed.

EXTERIOR WALL ASSEMBLY

Framing the
Exterior Envelope

The exterior wall framing established the home’s height, corners, and major openings. Structural sheathing was then introduced across portions of the frame, beginning the transition from an open wood structure toward an enclosed building shell.

01

Wall Geometry

The exterior framing defines the building corners, wall planes, and two-story volume.

02

Framed Openings

Door and window openings were incorporated directly into the developing wall assemblies.

03

Structural Sheathing

Exterior panels begin connecting the wall framing into a more continuous building assembly.

STRUCTURAL PROGRESS

Interior partitions · Framed openings
Exterior structural sheathing

Structural framing transformed the completed foundation into the recognizable form of the new Beverly Road home. The floor systems, exterior walls, interior partitions, and major openings now define the building’s scale and spatial organization.
