THE CHALLENGE
Finding the Right Location for the Steam Generator
Adding a steam shower required more than selecting fixtures inside the bathroom. The steam generator needed a protected location with enough room for plumbing and electrical connections, proper installation, and future service access.
Because the bathroom itself did not provide a practical location, we needed to find another area that could support the equipment without reducing usable bathroom space or making future maintenance difficult.
THE SOLUTION
Placing the Steam Generator in the Attic
To preserve usable space inside the bathroom, we located the steam generator in the attic above. This provided the clearance needed for the equipment while keeping it accessible for future inspection and maintenance.
The plumbing, electrical connections, controls, and steam line were coordinated between the attic and the walk-in shower. With the equipment placed outside the bathroom, the finished space remained clean and uncluttered while still delivering the full steam-shower experience.
